Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor, School Education & SCERT Nagaland Kohima, accompanied by Kevileno Angami, Commissioner & Secretary, School Education SCERT, Temsunaro, Mission Director, and Hokato Sema, EE, Er. from Engineering Cell visited Government High School Mon Town ‘C’ and Government Higher Secondary School Mon on 28th of May 2024 and 29th of May 2024 informed DIPR.

The advisor inspected and assessed the infrastructure and building of the school and urged the authorities to practice independence from the government as its staffs and teachers are local people and encouraged them to exercise responsibility to improve schools. He also exhorted the school principal and the staff to allow students to actively take part in the practice of cleanliness in and around the school.
Further, he also stated that he would investigate the issue concerning the shortage of teachers and additionally assured that 40 to 50 schools would be upgraded within 5-10 years.
