The Dimapur Rengma Youth Organisation (DRYO) has condemned the outrageous extortion demand of Rs. 50 Lakh allegedly made by the NSCN (Khango) group against Aolemba Longkumer, Chairman of the Country Craft Development Society, on December 16, 2024.

“This egregious demand is not only reprehensible in itself but also shocking and unacceptable due to its exorbitant amount. We strongly believe that entrepreneurs like Aolemba Longkumer, who are talented and self-made innovators, should be encouraged and supported by all sections of society, including the numerous Naga political groups, rather than being subjected to such blatant extortion,” stated the DYRO media cell.

“As the saying goes,” Justice delayed is justice denied” the organisation further urged the law enforcement authorities to apprehend the culprits at the earliest so that the public can repose their faith in them,” expressed the DYRO.
