The District Transport Office, Tuensang has informed to the general public that the District Transport Office Tuensang would remain closed with effect from July 24 until further notice.

All Motor Vehicle related work including issuance of driving licence, vehicle registration, tax collection, permits and other public service will remain suspended during this period.

This has been done in compliance with the Emergency Demolition order No.DC-TSG/DDMA/2021-22/308 dated 23-07-2026, issued by the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Tuensang, declaring the office building of the District Transport Officer, Tuensang as structurally unsafe and prone to collapse due to incessant rainfall and landslides and directing its emergency demolition to avert disaster.
