The Department of Agriculture held a farewell programme to honour and bid farewell to three retiring officers – B. Imti Tzudir, Additional Director; L. Mhao Lotha, Joint Director; and Besühü Dawhuo, Registrar – in a solemn and respectful ceremony held at the Directorate of Agriculture.

The programme was chaired by S. Yongchang Phom, Director of Agriculture and a brief service profile of each retiring officer was read out by Sanuzo Nienu, Additional Director, capturing the milestones and achievements of their respective careers.

Tili Kent, Superintendent, and Medovilie Ladu, Joint Director, spoke on behalf of the department, lauding the retirees for their decades of dedicated service and significant contributions to the department.

They also highlighted their professionalism, work ethics, and the legacy they leave behind for future officers.

The retiring officers fondly reminisced about their years of service, sharing experiences and valuable insights from their journey. They encouraged the staff of the Department to remain committed and continue serving with dedication and integrity.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt exchange of mementos and warm wishes for their future endeavours. The Department expressed its deep appreciation and wished the retiring officers a fulfilling and peaceful post-retirement life.
