Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has said that it is “perturbed and pained” by the reported abduction of four cadres of NSCN-Reformation (Akato) by the NSCN-IM that led to the death of the Deputy Kilonser at Tizit, Mon on 31 July 2023.
The Forum maintained that “Nagas must listen to each other and practice the art of camaraderie” and appealed to all Naga Political Groups and the Naga citizens to shun all forms of violence with immediate effect. Through the press release, FNR reminded the NPGs to honour the ‘Covenant of Reconciliation, of 13 June, 2009’.

It further reminded its call for Nagas to resolve “to abstain from succumbing to hatred and innuendos of any kind” just days ago in its statement on the ongoing violence in Manipur.
“We call upon all not to expose one’s weakness by any orders of justification and rationalization. Nagas have become immune to such tactics. Let us show our strength by admitting our finitude”, FNR appealed.
