Assam Rifles’ COB Pungro under Kiphire Battalion organised a Free Medical Camp at Thanamir Village, Kiphire District, Nagaland on September 28.

Free health check-ups, medical consultations and medicines were provided to 88 villagers, including 36 males, 39 females and 13 children.

The Village Council and residents expressed gratitude for the initiative, particularly considering the village’s remote hilly location and challenges in accessing healthcare facilities.

The camp strengthened trust, goodwill and cooperation between Assam Rifles and the local community.
