Nagaland’s Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Yathungo Patton and TR Zeliang, launched the Hornbill Festival 2024 Program booklet and a Commemorative 25th Hornbill Edition Silver Coin on 23rd November 2024 at Rhododendron Hall, Police Complex, Chümoukedima. Minister of Tourism Temjen Imna Along, Advisor for Art & Culture K Konngam Konyak, Chief Secretary Dr J Alam, IAS, Adviser to CM and Chairman of IDAN Abu Metha and Chairman TaFMA Theja Meru were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister, in a post on X platform, said that the booklet “contains information on every aspect of the event.” He also chaired an inter-department coordination meeting where the preparations for the upcoming Hornbill Festival were reviewed.

The annual Hornbill Festival is held from 1st to 10th December. The Nagaland Government has announced that Wales, Japan and Peru will be the Partner Countries of the Festival.
