The Sub Divisional Planning and Developmental Board (SDPDB) Bhandari felicitated three toppers hailing from the sub division who excelled in the recently declared HSLC and HSSLC 2025 exam results.
In the science stream, Benrithung Ovung, son of Thungjamo Ovung, Koro village, from St. John HSS Dimapur secured Top 5 (b); while Lorenchumi R Humtsoe, daughter of L Rhonthungo Humtsoe, New Ralan Village, from Little Star HSS Dimapur, secured Top 6 in Arts; and Chumlanthung Ranthang, son of Renbi Ranthang, Baghty Village, from Queen Mary School, Mokokchung secured Top 20 (a).
MLA and chairman SDPDB Bhandari, Achumbemo Kikon, speaking at the felicitation programme held in the conference hall of the Summer House-Cum-Guest House Bhandari congratulated the toppers for bringing laurels not only to their schools, villages and the sub-division in particular but to the Lotha community in general.

Stating that it was pride for all, Kikon encouraged the young achievers to continue working hard to accomplish their goals and to inspire their peers and younger students to follow in their footstep. While congratulating all the succedful canditates, the MLA said the three toppers have shown that students from Bhandari sub division have potential and capacity to achieve academic excellence and secure top positions, therefore, if students and teachers continuously strive by giving their best, they will stand “second to none”.
The toppers were presented with certificates of commendation and cash awards. Rev. Longshithung Mozhui, pastor Baptist Church Bhandari Town pronounced prayers of blessings for the toppers and all successful candidates. Additional Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman SDPDB Bhandari Longasen Lotha delivered vote of thanks.
