Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) successfully conducted a Continuing Oral & Dental Education (CODE) programme on the topic “Challenges in Endodontic Retreatment” on April 14 at Hotel Europa Inn, Dimapur.
Resource Person for the programme was Dr Mukut Seal (MDS – Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics) who focused on enhancing clinicians’ understanding of complex endodontic retreatment cases.
The session emphasized accurate diagnosis, proper case selection, and advanced treatment modalities thereby enhancing the Clinical skills of the Dentists of Nagaland. Modern aids such as rotary retreatment files, ultrasonics, magnification, and advanced irrigation protocols were also highlighted. The event featured a well-structured schedule including registration, felicitation, lecture, live demonstration, and a hands-on session that provided practical training in retreatment procedures.

More than 85 dentists from different parts of Nagaland and nearby towns of Assam attended this educational session, reflecting the strong interest and participation from the dental community.
Organized under the leadership of Dr Longpuremen Jamir (President), Dr. Arihant Jain and Dr. Sevolu Tetseo (CODE Convenors), and Dr Neiphrezo Soriiinuo (Hon. State Secretary), the program received an overwhelming response. The event was supported by partners like Admetec and Coltene.
