The year-long Silver Jubilee celebration of the Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) Women Department, themed “… Rejoice, highly favoured one, the Lord is with you…” (Luke 1:28), concluded with a series of Jubilee Musical Nights.

The final event, held on December 20 at High School Junction, Kohima, featured choral pieces, group performances, and solo renditions by members of KBC and Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC), according to an update from Koinonia Media Ministry.

Medotsilieu Kiewhuo, Pastor and Chairperson of the KBC Women Department, delivered a message before the musical presentations. She emphasized the proclamation of the angels, ”Joy to the World,” celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

She urged the gathering to rejoice as those favored by God and highlighted the event’s objective of sharing spiritual blessings and the joy of Jesus Christ with the community and the world through technology.

Kiewhuo encouraged attendees to follow the example of the three wise men in the Bible, guided by the star to Jesus, by turning away from worldly desires and seeking salvation through Christ.

It is worth noting that the main Silver Jubilee celebration was held on December 18 at the Koinonia Prayer Centre, Tsiesema Basa.

Another Jubilee Musical Night was organized on December 19 at Old NST, Kohima Town, where Evangelist Nyanmongi Rong shared a message, and Pastor Neibalie Kiewhuo offered prayers.
