The Kohima District Athletics Association (KDAA) has informed that it will be celebrating “Javelin Day” on August 9 along with the rest of the country.

This is in regard to the notification of the Nagaland Athletics Association to commemorate the remarkable achievement of Neeraj Chopra during the Tokyo Olympics, informed a KDAA press release issued today.

The Association will be organizing an event on “Javelin Day” where Javelin competition for both Boys/Girls for the category U-12, U-14 &U-16 will be held. Prizes for the top three winners will be sponsored by the Nagaland Athletics Association.
