Kohima Bible College (KBC) will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee Celebration at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima ground from 21 to 26 November 2023, the Organising Committee has informed.
The committee also stated that the theme for the six-day long jubilee will be “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).
The speakers for the celebration are Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder and Senior Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church, and Principal, Kohima Bible College; Rev. Dr. Vevozo Khamo, Vice-President, Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC); Rev. Dr. Putsato Naleo, Founder President, Life Transforming Ministries; John Monger, Founder and Pastor, International Restoration Church Austin Texas, USA; Rev. Dr. Batkupar Dunai, Cathedral of Praise Now Generation Outreach Revival Assembly, Shillong, Meghalaya, and Rev. Dr. Mati Joseph, Former Registrar, Kohima Bible College (1974-1984).

A weeklong celebration is planned with college faculty and former faculty, college alumni serving in various churches, associations and ministries within the state, nationally and across the globe, while the inaugural service will be held on 21st November at 4:00 pm.

The committee also informed that the anniversary celebration will include the release of KBC 50th Golden Jubilee Souvenir, while it will also be a time of sharing the blessings and prayers for all those who have been associated with the college over the last 50 years of existence. Greetings on the occasion will be delivered by Abei-ü Neihulie, President, Kohima Bible College (KBC), and widow of by late Rev Neihulie Angami, founder of the college.
Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal, KBC, informed that the college is the first Charismatic Bible college in Northeast India and the first Bible college in Nagaland that was started in 1972 amid revival movement in the state when the holy spirit was burning.
Rev Kiewhuo informed that there will be Golden Jubilee impartations and invited people from all walks of life to attend the services and receive the blessings of Salvation, Healing, Breakthrough, Deliverance, Prosperity and Restoration.
On Tuesday (21st November), President of Kohima Bible College (KBC) will also dedicate the newly constructed Rev David Oliver Nunn Memorial Boys Hostel at the KBC Campus, while on Saturday, there will be a Music Service at 10:00 am onwards with participation of various churches, institutions and individuals.
Furthermore, the organisers informed all invited guests and attendees to register their names at the reception booth where keepsake souvenir magazines and merchandise will be made available.
KBC 50th Golden Jubilee programs will be livestreamed on online platforms.
