Kohima Law College held its 46th Social Parting Programme on May 22 at the Nagaland Olympic Association, Raj Bhavan, Kohima
The event was celebrated with the theme “Dulcis Finis, Nova Initia”, which means “Sweet ending to a new beginning”, informed a press release.
In her welcome speech, Principal Moasenla Longkumer exhorted the outgoing students about the important role they will take on after college, especially in the legal field. She talked about how making good decisions in life is important and shared examples like a driver without brakes or a doctor choosing between saving one or five lives to explain moral decision-making.

The event continued with a performance by the 2nd Semester students titled “Always Remember You”, followed by a duet by Rodikohli and Katimongla. Mankhat N Konyak gave a speech on behalf of the outgoing students, while Atsali L Sangtam shared a tribute from the juniors.
A short presentation followed, after which Kilangakum Longkumer gave the vote of thanks. The session ended with a benediction by Dinah, the EU President.
The programme was compered by Liponthung Shitiri and Jinenle Wanth as the compered and started with a prayer by Kethovelu Resu, Assistant Professor of the college.
