Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Zunheboto, under Nagaland University, organised PM-KISAN Utsav Diwas at its Conference Hall on June 20, with the participation of farmers from various villages across the district.

During the programme, farmers gathered to listen to discussions highlighting the Government of India’s initiatives and achievements aimed at improving farmers’ welfare and livelihoods. The event also provided information on agricultural development schemes, technological advancements, and farmer-centric policies.

Dr Rakesh Kumar Chaurasia, Principal Scientist and Head encouraged farmers to avail government schemes and adopt improved agricultural practices to enhance productivity and income. Participants appreciated the informative session and the opportunity to learn about various agricultural initiatives.
