Langpangkong Students’ Conference condoles demise of Dr. Senkalong Yaden

The Langpangkong Students’ Conference (LKM) has expressed profound sorrow at the passing of Dr. Senkalong Yaden, “a distinguished scientist hailing from Merangkong village, an esteemed figure and a beacon of wisdom for Langpangkong range”. His demise is an irreparable loss to the community and beyond, stated the LKM in a condolence message issued on March 16.

The student body further added, ”Dr. Yaden, revered as the “Man of Science,” was a stalwart in the pursuit of knowledge and an advocate for the aspirations of the Naga people. His tenure as President of the Naga National Council (NNC) was marked by unwavering commitment to the principles of justice and self-determination. His contributions, both in the scientific domain and in public service, have left an indelible legacy that shall continue to inspire generations to come.”

The Langpangkong Students’ Conference conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and well-wishers. “In this moment of grief, we stand in solidarity with them, praying for strength and solace as they navigate this profound loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” stated the LKM.
