In a concerted push toward forward-looking digital fluency, Livingstone Foundation International (LFI), Dimapur, hosted an intensive seminar titled “AI as Co-pilot” conducted by instudia. The session focused on shifting student mindsets away from shortcut-driven copy-pasting toward leveraging artificial intelligence as an active collaborator to make daily learning engaging, rigorous, and highly productive.

As generative tools become ubiquitous in classrooms, the seminar addressed the urgent need for practical AI literacy, demonstrating how students can utilize intelligent platforms for genuine cognitive enhancement rather than superficial task completion.

The session was delivered by resource person Vishal Bardewa, accompanied by Anguka Ayemi of instudia. Bardewa led the presentation and interactive demonstrations, walking students through actionable techniques for integrating AI tools into their everyday study routines.

Key focus areas included – Repositioning AI from a passive copy-paste generator into an on-demand tutor that breaks down complex subjects and clarifies foundational concepts. Using prompt design frameworks to outline essays, synthesize vast reference materials, and automate study schedules for measurable productivity gains. Training students to interrogate AI outputs, verify factual accuracy, and preserve their own authentic analytical perspective.

“Copying and pasting answers bypasses the very struggle where real learning happens,” noted Bardewa during the address. “When you treat AI as your co-pilot, you remain in control of the direction. The tool handles the organizational heavy lifting, freeing you to focus on critical analysis, creativity, and deep comprehension.”
