A meeting regarding the Foothill Road project and the proposed extension of the road beyond the existing 10-metre Right of Way (ROW) was held at Dobashis Court, Tuli Sub-division, Mokokchung on May 11.
The meeting was convened in pursuance of directives issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung and was attended by representatives of the Tuli Area Foothill Road Land Owners Association, Village Council Chairmen and Secretaries of Kangtsung, Kangtsungyimsen, Wameken, Wamekenyimsen and Anaki along with other stakeholders under Tuli Sub-division.
During the meeting, participants deliberated on matters pertaining to the ongoing Foothill Road project, particularly focusing on the proposal for extension and widening of the road corridor beyond the existing 10-metre Right of way (ROW). Various concerns and suggestions from landowners and village representatives were also discussed to ensure smooth implementation of the project.

The meeting concluded with assurances for continued consultation with the stakeholders in the interest of the public and infrastructural development.
