Chairing the meeting, DC Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed that the Indian national flag with a size of 30X 20 at the rate of Rupees 20 would be distributed in every house through the Kohima Municipal Council and Ward chairmen in all 19 wards in Kohima and rural areas and the Flags would be hoisted in every house for three days from 13th August to 15th August 2022 in celebrating the 75 years of India Independence

ADC Kohima, Rhosietho Nguori also sought the support and participation of citizens to honour the National Flag. He also informed that distribution of the National Flags will start from 8th August 2022 onwards at DC’s office Kohima.

The meeting was attended by President KCCI, KMC, Chairmen of all Wards in Kohima Municipal Areas, GBs of Kohima Town, Chairmen of Phezoucha, Kruoliezou, Ziekezou, Keyake and T Khel Model village (UR).
