Mar Gregorios Memorial (MGM) College announced the completion of the Students’ Council election for the academic year 2025-2026, culminating with the oath-taking ceremony held today in the college auditorium.
The democratic election process, conducted under the vigilant supervision of the Election commissioner Lisathung Ovung, Dean of Students saw enthusiastic participation from students across all departments.
The oath-taking ceremony held today marked the official induction of the newly elected council members, who pledged to serve the student body with integrity, diligence, and dedication.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. R.K. Behera, Principal of MGM College, along with faculty members and students. In his address, Dr. Behera congratulated the new council and praised the student community for their discipline and enthusiasm throughout the electoral process. “This election and today’s oath-taking ceremony symbolize collective belief in student empowerment and participative governance. The new team will uphold the values of MGM College and work towards a more engaging and inclusive campus life,” he remarked.
