Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) in collaboration with the Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) and Niuland District Administration organised Mini Legal Services Camp at DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland on June 6.
Deputy Commissioner Niuland, TL Kiusumong Tikhir, while delivering a message as special guest welcome all the members present and stated that the main purpose of organising such event was to make the citizens aware of their legal rights specially the marginalized sections of people such as children, women, disabled, youths and labourers in the district.

Neiko Akami (NJS) Member Secretary NSLSA, in his keynote address stated the motive of the camp is to give free legal service to all the people in the district and said no citizens should be deprived of justice or from any government schemes that are being implemented in the district.
Neikho also highlighted the role and functions of the National Lok Adalat in the state, where many minor cases of disputes are being amicably solved or disposed off every year.
During the event, various departments officials and staff assist the public on how to avail the free legal service and also enlighten them about government projects and schemes in the district.
Earlier, N Longshithung Ezung, NJS, PDSJ Cum Chairman DDLSA, presented welcome address, while Atoka Achumi, NSJ, CJM Cum Secretary, DDLSA delivering the vote of thanks.
The event also witnessed a special NSLSA Theme song from Kivitoli Aye and friends.
The program was chaired by Advocate Thiuswangwiliu, Panel Lawyer DDLSA.
