Minister Imna Along assures there is no corruption in scholarship schemes

Kohima: Ministry of Tribal Affairs has released only 75% of second installment of scholarships, says Minister

Minister of Higher Education, Nagaland, Temjen Imna Along has assured of the State Government’s commitment to transparency in scholarship schemes and asserted that there is no tolerance for corruption.

Speaking at a program in Kohima on 28th November 2024, Along mentioned that he has been receiving numerous messages from students regarding the Post Matric Scholarship. He informed that the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, has released only 75% of the second installment of scholarships which the Department of Higher Education, Nagaland, has distributed to all eligible students.

“The state government does not take any portion of these scholarships,” the Minister stated.
