Miss Nagaland visits Bethel Children’s Home Tuensang

Reigning Miss Nagaland Hikali Achumi, on Wednesday, visited the orphans at Bethel Children’s Home Tuensang, accompanied by officials.

Achumi said her visit was a gesture to express love, concern towards the children while also build awareness on drug abuse. She also interacted with the children.

During the visit, Achumi shared her journey as Miss Nagaland where she urged the children to believe in oneself and one’s abilities as it is an incredible powerful tool that can help individuals achieve their goals and dreams.

Basing from the Bible (Psalms), Achumi said, “If you don’t go in the path of darkness and if you do not choose the life of bad habits or indulge in drugs, tobacco and alcohol, and walk in the truth at the end there is a reward for the obedient where God will lead one’s life.”

On Achumi’s visit, Throngji Yimkhiung, Adminstrator of Bethel Children’s Home Tuensang, mentioned that it is a great privilege for the children to meet Miss.Nagaland,which is a blessing for them.
