The Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH), through its Press Secretary, Lhikhro Kreo, also mourned Kuchi’s passing, describing him as a humble, gentle and devout person. It remembered him as an entrepreneur, sports enthusiast and youth leader who made meaningful contributions to youth development in Nagaland.

The WCH said his warm and easy-going nature and ability to connect with people across generations endeared him to many. It also remembered him as a devoted husband to Neitele, daughter of former minister, K Therie, and a loving father, saying his departure had left a void that words could not fill.

The Hoho prayed that the Almighty would grant the bereaved family comfort, courage and strength.
