Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) bid farewell to its outgoing student teachers of the Batch 2022-2024 in a heartfelt “Send-Off Program” held on June 5th, 2024. The event was graced by Dr. Imnatoshi, President of the Society of Alumni, MCTE, as the Special Invitee.
Dr. Imnatoshi, in his address, shared invaluable insights drawn from his own experiences as an educator. He emphasized the pivotal role of understanding and nurturing students, advocating for a student-centric approach to learning. Dr. Imnatoshi urged the student teachers to embrace creativity and strive for positive change in society, underscoring the transformative power of education.

Dr. Temsurenia, Vice Principal of MCTE, commended the outgoing student teachers for their resilience and creativity. Drawing inspiration from the Parable of the Wise and the Foolish Builders, she encouraged them to make wise decisions and embody humane educational practices in their future endeavors.

Imtimenla, Assistant Professor at MCTE, expressed appreciation for the outgoing student teachers through a heartfelt video, emphasizing the importance of carrying forward their inherent qualities responsibly.
Pomei Jorlim, Assistant Professor and Faculty-in-Charge of the Magazine Committee, initiated the digital launch of the 12th Edition of the annual college magazine, Kaleidoscope. The magazine, a testament to the students’ literary and creative talents, was later formally launched by Dr. Imnatoshi.
Representatives from both the outgoing and junior batches, Noyingbemo and P. Tiasola, expressed gratitude and shared their reflections on the occasion.
The program concluded with an informal session and a farewell feast.
