Coinciding with the discussions on the Demand for Grants for various Ministries currently underway in the parliament monsoon session, Member of Lok Sabha from Nagaland, S Supongmeren Jamir raised the need for the establishment of a Fish Seed Production Centre and a Veterinary College in Nagaland.

According to a press release issued by the Communications Department, NPCC, Jamir requested the Union Minister of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying for inclusion of the cited Projects under the Demand for Grants of his esteemed Ministry.
