MP Supongmeren Jamir extends 78th Independence Day greetings

New Delhi: MP underscores on moving towards with renewed pledge to uphold the principles of Freedom, Equality, Fraternity, Secularism

On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) S Supongmeren Jamir extended greetings to the citizens. “As we come together to celebrate the 78th Independence Day of our great Nation, I extend my warmest greetings to each one of you,” he stated.

Paying tribute to the freedom fighters, it also stated, “We honor the Courage, Sacrifices and Vision of the countless freedom fighters who fought for the Sovereignty and Unity of our Motherland.”

Jamir said that India’s journey over the past 78 years have been marking by significant strides in the field of Science and Technology, Art, Culture and social progress and remarked that “the Spirit of our Nation lies in our diversity, our resilience, and our unwavering commitment to Democracy and Justice.”

Further, the MP underscored on the aspect of moving towards the future with renewed pledge to uphold the principles that India was founded upon; Freedom, Equality, Fraternity and Secularism.

“Together we can overcome any challenges and continue to build a nation that reflects the dreams and aspirations of every Indian. May this Independence Day inspire us to work towards a brighter and more inclusive future for all. God bless and Jai Hind!” he stated.
