The Chief Secretary of Nagaland, J. Alam IAS, orchestrated a pivotal review gathering, embracing a hybrid format that encompassed pertinent department officials, Deputy Commissioners (DCs), Superintendents of Police (SPs), and District officials of UD/MA/RD/IPR/YRS from across the state. The purpose of this meticulously organized session was to delve into the strategic frameworks of the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” and “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaigns – two significant initiatives. The conference convened within the prestigious Chief Secretary Conference Hall in Kohima, DIPR stated.
The event witnessed the active participation of district administration luminaries, under the stewardship of Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS. These officials, alongside other relevant department representatives, engaged in a constructive exchange through a video conference held at the NIC Conference hall. With a laser focus on the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign’s impending roll-out, DC Shanavas provided in-depth insights into the elaborate groundwork executed within Kohima district. He reaffirmed the district’s unwavering readiness to adhere to and execute the campaign in strict accordance with the government’s guidelines.
In the microcosm of Kohima district, a meticulously designed plan has been set into motion, encompassing the engagement of 58 villages and 28 wards, including prominent localities like Chiephobozou and KMC. Central to this initiative are memorial programs, ingeniously centered around the Amrit Sarovar sites within one village from each of the five delineated blocks. Additionally, the campaign’s essence will be woven into the fabric of multiple locations within these villages and wards. Preparatory measures have been meticulously undertaken – from the procurement and distribution of saplings to ensure successful plantings, to the formulation of pledges, meticulously available in both their original form and translated variants. To ensure seamless execution, the Police and School Education departments have been seamlessly integrated, taking charge of dignified flag hoisting and rendering the National Anthem. These measures are not only rooted in preventing confusion but in orchestrating a harmonious symphony of participation. Furthermore, a network of distinct arrangements has been methodically established to facilitate the meticulous collection of soil from assorted areas – a poignant gesture to unite the essence of the land.
