Nagaland Cricket Association announces open trials for 2025-26 season

The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) has announced open trials for the selection of players for various state teams for the upcoming 2025–26 cricket season.

In a press release, the association informed that the trials would begin from June 17-26 for different categories. Registration are to be done through respective District Cricket Associations, while players are required to present a recommendation letter, original birth certificate, aadhaar card, and three years of academic certificates (for specific categories) at the time of reporting.

The schedule for the open player trials is given below:

The NCA informed that eligibility by age group are set for Under 15 Girls- born between 01-09-2010 and 31-08-2013; U16 Boys- born between 01-09-2009 and 31-08-2011; U19 (Boys and Girls) – born on or after 01-09-2005; and U23 (Men’s and Women’s) – born on or after 01-09-2002.

Reporting time for interested players have been set at 8:30 AM. Players have been asked to wear white playing attire and attend the trials at their own expense. Fitness test and document verification would be part of the selection process, the release added.
