Nagaland Cricket Association announces Open Trials for 2026–27 Season

The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) has announced the Open Trials for the 2026–27 cricket seasons for various age-group and senior categories. The trials would be held at GNR Ground, Dimapur, beginning from June 10

Trial Schedule

  • Senior Men: June 10
  • Men U-19: June 11 and 12
  • Boys U-16: June 13
  • Men U-23: June 15 and 16
  • Women U-15 & U-19: June 17
  • Women U-23 & Senior: June 18

Cut-Off Dates & Eligibility Criteria

  • Under-15 (Girls): Players should be born between September 1, 2011 and August 31, 2014.
  • Under-16 (Boys): Players should be born between September 1, 2010 and August 31, 2012.
  • Under-19 (Boys & Girls): Players should be born on or after September 1, 2007.
  • Under-23 (Men & Women): Players should be born on or after September 1, 2003.

All interested players are required to register through their respective District Cricket Associations.

Players have been asked to bring a recommendation letter from their District Cricket Association, along with their original Birth Certificate and Aadhaar Card for verification at the time of reporting.

For Girls U-15, Boys U-16, and Boys/Girls U-19 categories, players must also submit three years of school mark sheets or a school leaving certificate.

The reporting time for all categories is 8:30 a.m. A fitness test would be conducted as part of the selection process. All participants must attend the trials at their own expense and wear white playing attire.

The NCA said document verification must be completed and certified by the respective District Cricket Associations prior to the trials.

It also encouraged aspiring cricketers from across the state to take part in the trials and make the most of this opportunity.
