The Nagaland Government has reconstituted the Nagaland Inland Waterways Board with Minister, Power & Parliamentary Affairs K.G Kenye as the Chairman. In a notification, Chief Secretary J. Alam informed that the in supersession of the Department of Transport’s Notification NO TPTINSTAWATERWAYS-1/13 (PT), dated 25 March, 2022, the Governor of Nagaland has re-constitute the Nagaland Inland Waterways Board for effective co-ordination and implementation of the projects in the State with immediate effect.

Headed by K. G Kenye, Minister, Power & Parliamentary Affairs as Chairman and Chief Secretary, Nagaland, Kohima as Co-opted Chairman, the members of the Board includes Finance Commissioner, Development Commissioner, Commissioner & Secretary, Justice & Law, Commissioner & Secretary. Works & Housing, Commissioner & Secretary, Land Revenue, Commissioner & Secretary, Water Resources, Secretary, Power, Secretary of Transport as Member Secretary.
