Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, chaired a review meeting with the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) at Lok Bhavan, Kohima, on July 7.
During the meeting, IDAN officials presented a comprehensive overview of the Authority’s activities and initiatives across its core functional areas, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), investment promotion, the Nagaland Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM), Swavalamban Connect Kendra (SCK), the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC), policy research, and human resource development.
The presentation also highlighted recent achievements, ongoing programmes, key challenges, and IDAN’s roadmap for strengthening investment facilitation and economic development in the State.
The Governor reviewed the progress made under various programmes and appreciated IDAN’s efforts in promoting investment, entrepreneurship, skill development, and innovation in Nagaland. He emphasized the importance of enhancing ease of doing business, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and strengthening coordination among stakeholders to accelerate the State’s socio-economic development.

The Governor also stressed the need for effective implementation of programmes, greater outreach to entrepreneurs and youth, and continued efforts to attract investments while ensuring inclusive and sustainable growth across Nagaland.
The meeting concluded with discussions on strategies to address existing challenges and further strengthen IDAN’s role in driving the State’s investment and development agenda.
