Nagaland Shines at National Kung Fu Championship with 12 Medals

The All Nagaland Shaolin Kung-Fu Association (ANSKA) brought pride to the state by securing a total of 12 medals — 7 Gold, 4 Silver, and 1 Bronze — at the 9th National Kung Fu Championship 2025, held from May 30 to June 1 in Kurseong, Darjeeling, West Bengal.

ANSKA extended heartfelt congratulations to all participants and officials, acknowledging their sacrifices and dedication in bringing honor not just to the Association but also to the State of Nagaland through sports. The Association also encouraged all learners to stay physically fit and mentally resilient.

“Challenges arise every time we are about to partake in any activity, but be consistent with our best discipline and it shall manifest,” said Dr. Ruokuo John Sorunuo, Deputy Grandmaster and Chief General.

The Association also expressed its deep appreciation to the team’s coach, leader, manager, and Rev. Fr. Jojiang Daniel Gangmei, Coordinator of Don Bosco Sports Academy, Dimapur Province, for their unwavering support and efforts in guiding the team to success.
