A two-day rogramme on Drug Free India (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) was held at Mangkolemba on June 25 and 26 at ADC Conference Hall and Town Hall, Mangkolemba respectively.

On June 25, the representatives from Mangkolemba Town Council, Village Councils, CSOs and GBs attended the programme with Resource Persons, Dr Sentimenla, SMO, CHC, Mangkolemba and Rongsensashi, SDPO, Mangkolemba. SDO (C), Mangkolemba, Rohbi Sangtem was the Special Guest.

On the second day, the students, youth and Person with Substance Use Disorder participated in the programme with Dr. Mungro Imchen CHC, Mangkolemba and Inspector Sashi, OC, PS Mangkolemba as the resource persons.

EAC Alongkima, Mhathung Ngullie addressed the gathering. During the two-day programme, topics on “Talk on Drug and Substance Abuse” and “Legal Provision Relating to Drugs and Narcotics” were presented by the resource persons. The programme was organised by the District Administration and Department of Social Welfare, Mangkolemba.
