The Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) has expressed its appreciation to the Social Welfare Department of Nagaland for their prompt action regarding the advertisement of two important posts under the Sakhi-One Stop Centre, Kohima.
“In response to the letter No. SW/MS/OSC-K/GEN/2023/470, dated 5th December 2023, the Social Welfare Department has successfully initiated the recruitment process for the positions of Centre Administrator and Case Worker (Legal), as indicated in the notification No. NL/MS-HR/2023/652, dated 27th November 2024,” stated the NASU in a press release.

According to the Union, these positions are critical to the functioning of the Sakhi-One Stop Centre(OSC) under the Centrally sponsored scheme Mission Shakti, which plays a vital role in providing support and assistance to women affected by violence and other social issues in the region.
“The timely advertisement of these posts underscores the commitment of the Social Welfare Department to strengthen services for women and improve the effectiveness of the centre. We appreciate the ongoing efforts of the Social Welfare Department in enhancing the welfare services for the citizens of Nagaland and look forward to continued collaboration for the betterment of society,” stated NASU.
