The Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) felicitated its HSLC and HSSLC 2025 toppers on May 9 at Ura Academy, Kohima. Ten toppers under the Northern Angami region were felicitated at the event.

Er. Vipulhou Lhoungu, Director of Technical Education, and President, Northern Angami Gazetted officers Krotho (NAGOK) graced the occasion as the Special Guest. In his speech, Lhoungu advised the gathering that their achievement is not the end but the beginning. The Special Guest focused on the need to put one’s trust in God and to be prayerful in any important  decisions or juncture in one’s life. “Pray for the right decision, the right job and the right decision. I have experienced the same miracle of God answering my  prayer. You are very save with God,” said Lhoungu.

He also encouraged the students to put God first and nothing can stop them from achieving anything they want. The need to be humble and industrious was also stressed. In her greetings, Kedisenuo Keditsu, NAWO President, shared words of wisdom to guide the students in the right direction. Keluosenuo Suokhrie (HSLC Top-4) shared a message on behalf of the toppers. Meanwhile, Ruokuose-ü Sanchu presented a special number and Khrieketouzo Pienyü Vice President, NASU pronounced the vote of thanks.

The program was chaired by Vimezo Chakrüno, Edu. Secy., NASU while Kevidzenyü Mere Asst. Professor, Shalom Bible Seminary earlier blessed the program with invocation. Meteitoulie Talie President, NASU delivered the welcome address.
