A New Faculty Building and Engineering Workshop were inaugurated at the Kohima Campus of Nagaland University on 13th August 2024 by Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, the NU PRO informed in a press release. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. G.T. Thong, Registrar Dr. Abemo, along with faculty members, officers, and staff of Kohima Campus were also said to had been present at the inauguration programme.

Prof. Patnaik described the day as a “memorable and auspicious occasion” in the university’s history. He emphasized that the new facilities would greatly benefit not only the engineering students but also the students from other departments. The Vice Chancellor reiterated the university’s commitment to providing top-notch infrastructure to support its members’ academic and professional growth.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Metsizolie Medoze, Deputy Registrar, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, who expressed gratitude to all those involved in the project’s success.
