NPWD bids farewell to Engineer-in-Chief and Chief Engineer (NH)

Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD) organised a farewell programme in honour of Er K Imnajungba, Engineer-in-Chief, and Er T Sao Sangtam, Chief Engineer (NH) on June 30 at the NPWD Conference Hall, Kohima.

The event was attended by senior officers, HODs of different branches of NPWD, along with the staff of the department.

In their farewell addresses, Er K Imnajungba and Er T Sao Sangtam expressed heartfelt gratitude to their colleagues and shared words of encouragement, urging the younger officers to continue working with sincerity and commitment for the welfare of the people.

Reminiscing their past years, they shared their experiences and achievements despite being confronted with many challenges, and encouraged all to continue their dedication towards providing good service. Propagating the importance of a ‘Sincere prayer’, they advised the young engineers that it is only through prayer to God, all their achievement could be possible.

Short speeches were also delivered by other senior officers, who commended the outgoing officers as highly capable, talented and dynamic officers and one of the most instrumental persons in the department.

A presentation was made in honour of the outgoing officers, acknowledging their decades of dedicated service, leadership, and contributions to the department.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by EE, PWD (H), Er Akule Pusa, and invocation was pronounced by EE, PWD (NH), Er Imsanenla Imchen. A group song was presented by the staff of the NPWD and EE, Lisela Sangtam, followed by speeches from Chief Engineer, PWD (PEP), Er H Vihokhe Sema, Chief Engineer, PWD (Mechanical), Er Vitsozol Chaya, Chief Architect, PWD (P&D), Ar Lhouvilie Yhor, Additionanal Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B), Er Neilabeizo Angami, and SE, PWD (NH), Er C Hendo Sumao. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Additional Chief Engineer, PWD (H), Er Fineson Pojar.
