The Naga Students’ Federation has demanded for re-examination of Combined Technical Services Examination Civil Engineering (CTSE) 2023 following complaints from candidates claiming question repetitions and questions asked from other branches of engineering which were out of the syllabus prescribed by the commission.

Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) had earlier conducted CTSE exam on 7 June 2023 for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector.

“Such a grave over sight by the members of a reputed commission in the form of NPSC which is responsible for recruiting the top bureaucrats and technocrats in the state cannot be tolerated,” stated the convenor and co-convenor of public grievances and redressal cell, NSF.

The federation also said that CTSE re-test will ‘ensure that a level playing field is created for all the candidates desiring to serve the State government in the capacity Motor Vehicle Inspector.’

Further, NSF urged NPSC to exercise utmost caution while setting the question papers to various recruitment examinations it conducts and ensure that no further blunder such as this is committed again in the near future.
