The Nagaland Transparency Public Rights Advocacy and Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO) has expressed its support to the Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC), Dimapur – based tribal Hoho’s and Young Nagas Action committee for Foothills Road on the two – lane road construction project, where the concern organizations set a four-day deadline for the government to issue the work order.

“The Nagaland Foothills Road project is, “one of its kind in the entire region, uniquely conceptualize” and a “dream project for the naga people at large”, to safeguard our socio-economic efficiency at all times,” stated the Organisation.
The NTPRADAO also expressed dismay that despite Rs.148.05 Crores sanctioned for the enhancement of the Foothill Road Project under the head if Special Assistance to States For Capital Investment (as per statement in our State’s NLA Budget Session for Financial Year 2024—25), the work order has been kept pending “due to unknown reasons and the project is kept in unreasonable delay in this right working season for road construction”.
