Phenshünyu lowjvu Nezen condemns abduction and assault of its members

The Phenshünyu lowjvu Nezen Dimapur has condemned the cowardly act of abduction and brutal assault on its members, by an underground outfit on December 16, 2024 at Church Road Dimapur. “This despicable act is a direct attack on the dignity, security, and fundamental rights of individuals, and we, as a union, will not tolerate such actions against any of our members,” stated the Union in a press release issued today.

Expressing that the abduction and inhumane treatment as an attack on the entire community and the principles of justice and democracy, the Union considered the act as an attempt to instill fear and intimidation among our community members, which is completely unacceptable.

“The union will not remain a silent spectator to such barbaric acts. We call on the authorities to take this matter seriously and bring the culprits to justice without delay. We stand united and resolute. The union will continue to fight for justice for our member and ensure such heinous actions are met with the strongest legal and organizational resistance,” it asserted.
