The Phom Students’ Conference and the Khiamniungan Students’ Union have both issued directives to their respective federating units to comply with the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) directive that came out on 17 January 2023.
On Wednesday, the Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) issued a directive from Longleng headquarters which read: “The Phom Students’ Conference hereby directs all the Federating Unit(s) that, any Officials of PSC, Federating Units and its Units ‘holding any designated post are directed to resign or withdraw from any political entity and affiliation’ at the earliest.”
Today, the Khiamniungan Students’ Union (KSU) issued a directive from Noklak headquarters that stated: “[T]he office of the Khiamniungan Students’ Union hereby directs the KSU Federating Units, Subordinate and Range Bodies that ‘holding any designated post are directed to resign or withdraw’ at the earliest.”
Should there be a failure in complying with the directive, the KSU stated that “the individual shall be at his/her own risk and the KSU shall not be held responsible for any future confrontations.”
