MY Bharat Kendra – Niuland, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in collaboration with Platinum College MY, organized a special event as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2026 (Drug-Free India Campaign), on the theme “Nasha Mukht Yuva for Viksit Bharat” at Platinum College, Niuland. The program commenced with an invocation led by Hokito, followed by an opening note from the Principal, Dr K Kalito Chishi.

Deputy Commissioner of Niuland, TL Kiusumong Tikhir, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour and addressed the gathering on the pivotal role of youth in shaping the nation’s future. He highlighted that young people are the greatest asset of the country and urged them to step forward as active ambassadors in building a drug-free society.

Reminding the students that good and bad co-exist in society, he emphasized that the choice ultimately rests in their hands to choose the right path and serve as ambassadors for a drug-free nation. He called upon them to lead by example, reject harmful influences, spread awareness, and actively drive positive change toward a Viksit Bharat.

The event featured a rich variety of performances and thematic presentations, beginning with a soulful rendition of “We Are the World” by the college Music Club, followed by insightful perspectives on “Viksit Bharat Through Nasha Mukti Yuva” shared by K. Manikanta, District Youth Officer, My Bharat.

Vibrant student competitions took center stage, showcasing talent in music, elocution, slam poetry, and dance. The event concluded with a closing prayer led by the Vice Principal, Dr A Husca, reaffirming the community’s commitment toward building a drug-free nation.
