The Poimi Students’ Union Ngwalwa Town Area (PSUNTA) will be holding a protest march in Ngwalwa Town in Peren district on 27th September 2023 to demand justice for “our sister” who is in critical care after been raped with the intention to murder in Ngwalwa Village on 7th September 2023 by the accused Benjamin Terieng.
“The crime committed to our sister is a pure reflection of the intention of the culprit and has left the victim in a critical place and traumatized and long process of healing will take place,” the office of PSUNTA said in a press release.

The students’ body further said that the protest march aims to display to all the women and girls of Ngwalwa that the PSUNTA supports them and would safeguard them from such heinous crimes.
On Wednesday (27th Sep), the protest march will begin at Heningkunglwa check gate at 10:00 am and will culminate at Ngwalwa forest gate, PSUNTA has informed.
