S Supongmeren Jamir, PCC President & INC candidate for the lone Nagaland seat of the 18th Lok Sabha election has today expressed his gratitude for the support and solidarity extended to him and his party during the recently held Lok Sabha elections in Nagaland.
Jamir lauded the tireless efforts of the poll officials who has helped facilitate the festival of democracy. He also thanked the electorate of Nagaland for reposing their faith in the electoral process of the Nation and enthusiastically taking part in the elections.
“To my supporters and well wishers, I’m humbled beyond words by your many acts of kindness, and I thank you for your unwavering support in the face of very formidable odds. Your contributions, in cash and in kind, and your constant prayers, had been the bulwark of my campaign,” stated Jamir.
The INC Candidate thanked the entire rank and file of the Congress Family in Nagaland and beyond, including the Campaign Committees and Star Campaigners, for defending the progressive and secular ideals of the Indian National Congress and for their untold sacrifices in support of his candidature.

“I’m also grateful to all the like minded political parties that stood by me throughout the electoral journey and enriched my campaign effort with their more than generous partnerships.Last but not the least, I extend my sincere gratitude to the media fraternity for once again rising to the occasion and delivering robust responsible journalism,” stated Jamir.
“It is undeniable that the people of Nagaland have in an unprecedented show of purpose and unanimity voiced a strong message in favor of change this time, and I give assurance that my future political course will be shaped in complete alignment with this sentiment, regardless of the verdict on 4th of June,” added Jamir.
