Tuensang: Teacher says high school life a unique chapter, a time of self-discovery, exploration and laying foundation for future

Holy Cross School, Saksi NAP, Tuensang organised the parting social 2023 for its outgoing students on Wednesday. The program was themed “Sayonara”, a Japanese word that means “Goodbye”.

Speaking on the occasion, Reji, Assistant-teacher, Department of Book Keeping & Accountant, Holy Cross School, expressed his gratitude to the students and stated that their achievements included the character they have developed, the friendships they have formed and their resilience in the face of adversity.

The teacher said that high school life is a unique chapter, it is a time of self-discovery, exploration and laying the foundation for their future. “I had the privileged of witnessing your intellectual curiosity, passion for various subjects and the sparkle in the eyes when the students grasped a challenging concept,” he remarked.

Stating that education is a long lifelong journey, Teji encouraged the students to embark on a continuous quest for knowledge and understanding and at the same time to cherish the lessons learned not just from textbooks but from the experiences shared with peers, teachers and the diverse tapestry of life. He wished the outgoing students the best of luck.

The Farewell function was chaired by Litovi and Nokching, prayer for the program was pronounced by Throngtsali, assistant teacher of Science while a special presentation was performed by Eliva, and vote of thanks by Themsao. The program was followed by entertainment session.
