Shishoi Oshom-ETF Cell, Wokha, in collaboration with the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Wokha, Sakhi-One Stop Centre, Wokha, NSRLM, Wokha, and The Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, Dimapur, commenced two batches of skill training programs on Banana Fibre Extraction and Handicraft Development. The training sessions began on Tuesday at the Lotha Eloe Hoho Office, Wokha Town and Longsa Community Hall, Longsa Village.
This initiative, aimed at empowering women through skill development, witnessed the participation of a total of 65 women from Wokha Town and Longsa Village.
The week-long training programme provided participants with valuable insights and practical knowledge in Banana Fibre Extraction and Handicraft Development, fostering entrepreneurship and economic empowerment within the community.
