The Brig. (Red) S. Singnya led Federal Government of Nagaland has announced the appointment of Khahpa Phom S/O, Khamlu of Aoching village as the Midan Peyu (Chief Commissioner) Phom Region with effect from 7th January 2025.

In a statement issued by the Secretary, the Ministry of Raliwali Affairs (Information and Broadcasting), the group appealed the Phom People Council (PPC) to extend co-operation towards the newly appointed Midan Peyu “for the cause of our Nation”.

The Singnya led FGN also announced the termination of Chuba Kumzuk, Phom Kilonser, for “his anti Government activities” with effect from 7th January 2025.
