Skill development training culminates at Pughoboto

Pughoboto: A demand driven skill development training on construction sector for multiskills technical for Pughoboto sub-division culminated at Town hall, Pughoboto on 30th July 2022.

MLA, Y Vikheho Swu speaking at the culmination programme urged the trainees to be honest in their trade and encouraged them stating that there is a lot of scope in skills development in the state. He also called upon them to develop their skills and be professionals. Swu said that the people in the state are not well developed in term of the skill development due to lack of vision, plan and due to sole dependency on the government initiatives. He stated that success of an individual depends on themselves.

Swu expressed concern over the random charging rate the state, and he urged the concerned department to deal with the matter and promote skill development. Swu called upon the gathering to always do the right thing and stay away from the wrongs. He expressed his gratitude to the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, ZIS, administration, police, PATC, and all the people concerned for taking the initiative and for their support for the success of the program. The MLA also informed that he plans to hold a one-day interaction and registration with Nagaland building and other construction welfare board in the month of August.

Dy. Director, ESDE, Zubemo Lotha Tsanglao, who chaired the programme acknowledged the MLA and the administration for the initiative and concern to conduct the training in the sub division. Tsanglao encouraged the trainees to make best use of the skills learned during training and go forward. He said that people should not shy away from using their skills and encouraged them saying that people in advanced countries do their own works by themselves.

The trainees also received tools and certificates, which were handed over by the MLA. Altogether, 50 people took part in the training. A presentation was also given by ZIS. Closing remarks was given by Mughashe Achumi, General Secretary SAKK. The training was organised by the department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in partnership with Zynorigue Intiative Society.
