Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Dimapur has informed that a Special Camps would be conducted by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at all polling stations across the three Assembly Constituencies in Dimapur district on October 9 as per the directions of the Election Commission of India.
The camps are being organised to facilitate the enrolment of eligible electors and ensure that the documents and requirements of electors to whom notices have been served are duly addressed.
All concerned citizens have been requested to avail themselves of the facilities provided at their respective polling stations and participate in the Special Camps.
The initiative is aimed at facilitating eligible citizens in electoral registration and related processes and ensuring greater accessibility to electoral services at the polling-station level.
KOHIMA:
The DC & DEO, Kohima has informed that a Special Camps will be conducted at all polling stations in Kohima district on October 9 in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026.
The camps are being organised pursuant to the direction of the Election Commission of India, conveyed through the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, to facilitate electors who have been served notices to submit the relevant documents required for the revision process.

During the Special Camps, Form 6, Form 7 and Form 8, wherever applicable, along with the required documents, will be collected from electors. The collected forms and documents are to be properly recorded and maintained.
The Election Commission has also directed that the conduct of the camps will be documented through good-quality photographs, videos and testimonials of Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and electors.
Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, NCS, has directed all EROs and AEROs to ensure the conduct of the Special Camps and compile the photographic, video and testimonial records received from BLOs. The compiled records are to be submitted to the District Election Officer by 4 p.m. on October 9, 2026.
