Henwasin Sweety Lorin, SR Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist in her keynote address mentioned that teachers’ roles in early intervention and diagnosis is crucial. By educating the teachers about the disorders and the importance of early interventions, it is possible to provide better support to children with special needs and provide them with the best possible start in life, she added.

The event brought together teachers from different preschools and students from the teachers’ training institute.

The BMCCD, with an objective to promote awareness and understanding of invisible disabilities in children, shared its commitment to continue to plan more orientation and workshops for parents and teachers in the future.
